I would wager those are Pearl diecast rims, and possibly Pearl lugs. I can’t identify the strainer, but the air hole is definitely out of sync with the rest of it, leading me to believe that this is a one-of-a-kind that a person did, and not a custom drum builder. The first thing that comes to mind with a drum not from a custom shop is that bearing edges and snare beds may be suspect, and I say that because I’ve been burned in the past. That doesn’t mean that’s the case here though. But that air hole to me is the strongest case for this not coming from even a custom snare builder that I can see. How does it tune? How does it sound?

1 month agoIt would help if you posted photos of the throwoff, the strainer and the badge.
