Here's a fun build. This is a new 8x15" Keller shell made into a Ludwig* Coliseum. That's right...an 8x15" Coliseum! I want to be clear this is NOT a Ludwig drum but one to look just like the classic Coliseum with the exception of going HUGE with a 15" diameter! John Spinelli of Spinelli Drums cut the bearing edges (45 degree w/ a slight roundover) and cut the snare beds. It has new Aquarian heads top and bottom. The snare wires, lugs, muffler, throwoff and buttplate are all new Ludwig parts. The badge is a 70s reproduction. The heads are new Aquarian. The wrap is Delmar brand in the brand new "Merlot Sparkle" finish. I had a difficult time finding 15" Ludwig hoops with 12 lugs. I found the snare hoop but the batter is a Slingerland. Regardless... a very cool drum that has serious command when struck. Fantastic! I pack my items very well and ship tracked and insured. Only $50 for shipping to Continental USA addresses.
