Two unique, unusual tones -
Found at an estate sale. The tarnish and corrosion present may actually be adding to their sonic character! The pictures also make them look better, more golden than their real tarnished color, which is almost black.
These cymbals are thin, suitable for playing with sticks on a stand, or striking/rubbing together freeheld by their center knobs or with cymbal straps. Both also have holes drilled near the edge for hanging with cord, so they could be suspended to be played with mallets, or close together to be played by the wind. The weight of the pair together is 3 lbs. 8 oz.
I do not know what the kanjis painted on the surfaces say, nor exactly how old these cymbals are, or their origin.
