Vintage 60s Zildjian 22" Thin Ride. This was from the classic Bill Crowden's Drums LDT shop in Chicago. He had a special reserve of Zildjian cymbals he had for his favorite costumers (see photo).
I bought this in the late 60s early 70s from him. I remember spending hours in the cymbal room trying countless cymbals for the sound i was looking for. This was the best option to going to the Zildjian factory in Massachusetts.
This cymbal is still sounding great. There is some duct tape on the underside, that was how one controlled the wash back then.
I didn't want to clean this, as many drummers want the patina & dirt in the grooves. There are a few fleabites, & no key holing.
