Original owner since new; factory add-ons; super shape w/minor rubs; matched D9 serials.
Bought the 5 piece classic XP8 Londoner (all‑maple 8‑ply shells, 45° edges, no re‑rings) prime late‑’70s new, then added on two additional toms ordered directly from Rogers factory.
The two add-on toms / factory extras often got badges without serial numbers, as they bypassed full kit sequencing—common for customer orders like mine at the time.
These are all U.S.‑made Rogers from the CBS/Fullerton peak, made in Fullerton, California.
Includes original Memri‑Loc hardware.
These drums remain in amazing shape, and were handled with love as my only kit most of my life. This said with use, some minor scratches/rub spots occurred (see pics and below). One bass drum hoop is the only thing that I would replace - decades of bass drum pedals have torn it up. The pictures do “magnify” some of the shell scratches - looks better in person.
