This is a Custom 5.5 x14" Solid Carbon Steel snare drum made for me by Gene D'Amico. The rims' top and bottom are diecast hoops. It has a 4mm thick cast carbon steel shell that produces a sharp crack with a dark tone and tons of projection. This drum is very similar to the "Dangerous Ocheltree" snare drum used by Carter Beuford, Steve Smith, and Danny Carey. This is a heavy drum weighing approximately 20 lbs. The drum comes with a hard shell Protechtor case. The drum is in excellent new condition.
