This is a four-year restoration of a Premier Genista drum set, mainly from the 2010s. It is inspired by the Genista kit that was part of Premier's 75th Anniversary; one that I could never get my hands on, so I made my own! The sizes are 20x16 birch kick, which I had cut down from a 20x18, added maple re-rings for strength, and new bearing edges, by TJS Custom Drums. I also added new, deeper hoops. The floor tom is a birch 15x13; an original from the 90s, made in England, that had been a rack tom. Someone added a cheap set of legs and brackets, so I replaced them with better ones. The rack tom is a 12x8. It used to have a 12x9 shell, but I replaced it with a thicker (and better) birch shell. It now has better clearance on top of the kick drum. All of the tom batter hoops now have a heavier 3mm thickness. Most of the Aquarian heads are almost new. The rack batter head is brand new. The mounted tom holder is made by Gibraltar. It has it's own Premier Iso-mount. The wrap is a high-quality one from Precision Drum Co. The Blue-White Pearl color I think is classier than the basic white pearl wraps. This whole restoration cost me about twice what I'm selling this for. I am selling this kit, because of costly car repairs, and something had to give. Collectors might not like this kit, but players will, because I made it much better. Reasonable offers accepted. I hate to break this kit up, but I'm willing to sell the drums, separately, but don't really want to. Just let me know which one(s) you're interested in.
