Help identifying sticks please?

I just came into these sticks and want to know more. Fat like 2S, with a short, crazy taper to a small pedestaled tip. Marking at butt ends reads, “Stone 11.”
George Lawrence Stone sticks, maybe? I know that he took over his father’s drum and drumstick making business, only to close it down in the 1930s in favor of devoting more time to teaching. How can I confirm that they’re from George Stone?
Thanks in advance for any help.

Beth, yes they are Stone Master model #11 sticks. They are shown in my 1925 Stone catalog on page 38. Considered Concert Band models. 11/16th in diameter and 16 inches long. Ting

Beth and Ting. Can we collaborate on an article for NSMD about those sticks and your Stone catalog?

Sure. I think. Not clear on what else I can provide other than my photos. Ting seems to have the supporting documentation.

I tossed up a blog post about them and my other oldest pair of sticks here:

Feel free to grab photos for the article, or email me if you want me to send them by email to you.
