R-M , Rose-Morris English Kit 22,13/16

Up for sale
Very rare and unusual in the States. Rose Morris was a music merchandiser in England. These are descended from the John Grey/Autocrat/Broadway, Clansman/Schaftesbury drum family. Not a lot of info out there, Geoff Nichols being the best source I have seen.
Here is what I know, or think I know. Please feel free to correct me.
Early to mid 70's. 22,13,16, There were 3 colors
available Nordic Bronze/Pagan Red and this, Artic Steel.
Color is deep and vivid, looks like Christmas tinsel with a clear coat.
Drums were correct on the batter sides, but missing front hardware. So parts have been added.
Cool things, Ludwig looking tee's are correct but are about 10% larger than Ludwig in all directions, Ludwig will
work and you will not notice much difference.
Claws, I need 6 each to complete. I used Premier claws (6 each)with square tension rods .
Toms have slotted tension rods, Some Premiers were used to complete the look. I used Canopolus mufflers to replace the missing mufflers(2 each). Correct triple flanged hoops have round holes for rods ,not oblong slots. No extra holes in toms. Sharp bearing edges with thick reinforcement rings. Silver wrinkle paint.
Bass drum, Ludwig curved spurs were in stalled by previous owner, and that's a good thing. Tom mount is a set-0-matic type clone and is stable. Has hex bolt for up-down lock.
Pictures are a mix of old and new. So check description and ask questions.
Meg White of the White Stripes has a killer red kit that you can see on official youtube videos, Hotel Yorba, Icky Thump, Seven Nation Army.
I love this kit because it is so different. I suspect that most of these kits came thru Canada based on other sales.
Bass drum heads are new. correct heads are HEADMASTER, by R-M
My thoughts, These are not a cheap, catalog type drums. Very well made and very playable.
Thanks for looking.
