1960 Slingerland 8-lug Radio King Snare Drum. 5" x 14" solid one-ply maple shell with solid maple reinforcing hoops.
Original red sparkle finish is very vibrant / no fade. 3-point throw-off strainer. Pre Serial Black and Gold Chicago badge.
Chrome over brass stick saver hoops.
Great sounding snare drum.
No modification and no extra holes.
All original except heads and snare wires.
New REMO Ambassador batter head and new REMO Diplomat snare side head.
Lugs are in excellent condition...very minor pitting on some lugs.
Strainer does not work as well as it should...very limited movement throw when lever is moved.
