Vintage Sabian 22" Heavy Ride Cymbal-1st generation-Rare-Very Good Condition!
I have personally owned this cymbal for more than 35 years. I bought it used pre-1988 so it is definitely one of the earliest heavy rides Sabian produced.
I have recorded every album of my career with this ride...there was never another option.
The tone is mid-dark, warm, crisp and with a beautiful ear-pleasing sound and the perfect bell for any music. It cuts through the stage noise and is so pleasing to the ear for any type of music...rock, jazz, country...whatever. It's a sound-mans and studio engineers delight!
Top side of the cymbal has been maintained for a clean, vibrant appearance. The underside has been
primarily left to age and mature. It looks awesome and sounds even better. This cymbal is only increasing
in rarity so your investment will never lose it's value.
