This is a limited edition Ludwig 5" x 14" Millennium LM2000MX6. snare drum from 2000 , which has become exceedingly more difficult to find over recent years. This is from a Limited Edition, # 91 out of a run of 100 made of these incredible drums. This drum is MINT and unplayed and in phenomenal shape. The original Millennium drum case IS included in this listing.
Online description; "The Ludwig Millennium Snare is a special Limited Edition package. Announced Jim Catalano, Ludwig marketing manager. "We built in special features to produce its distinctive resonance, projection and bright sound." Special features include an engraved brass plated P86 Millennium strainer, brass plated tube lugs, and brass plated die cast hoops on the top and bottom. The unique Millennium strainer has lever action with swivel pivot for full snare contact. The strainer allows easy access to tension adjustment".
