Rolled from heavy-gauge brass alloy, this is heavier shell than most beaded-style brass snares. The sound is distinctively brass, but with more body and fatness at low mid range frequencies and a beautiful high end crack. polished brass finish. Condition is like new. It was bought new and played for a few moments. Still has original DW/Remo head with a few stick marks.
