The drum is in very good condition. The wrap is excellent and not discolored. There are no mounting holes. The chrome on the rims has a little pitting, but the wooden part is in good shape. The heads are coated Remo Weather Kings that don't appear to have ever been played. I never played the drum myself.

I don't know the exact manufacturing year because I'm afraid to take off the head and encounter all the mechanisms. They were manufactured in the early 1950s. The bass drums and toms were considered the best because of their need for less tension. Sonny Greer played a set with Duke Ellington. They were sold in kits of either WMP or Black Diamond Pearl.

Because of its size it will probably need to be professionally packed and shipped by one of those mailing stores. I don't do this regularly so am not equipped to send it myself. Of course, pick up would be possible. I live in Grand Blanc, Michigan, which is north of Detroit and near Flint.
