Vintage 60s Gretsch Roundbadge Drum Kit

Gretsch roundbadge kit in gold satin flame, late 60s: 14 X 20 bass, 16 X 16 floor tom, 8 X 12 rack toms (2), 5 X 14 snare drum. No extra holes. Original tom mount plus new Maxwell/Gauger Rims mount, all original internal mufflers including bass drum. Two non-original rack tom hoops. Fair condition of wrap with typical scratches and scruffs. This particular kit was called the rock ‘n’ roll model, distinguished by the two 8 x 12 rack toms and the other sizes listed.

Gretsch started using The satin flame finishes in the late 60s into the early 70s. Being around badge drums, these were likely manufactured between 1968 and 1970.

Yes , indeed . I have a name band kit in this finish ( 9x13 , 16x16 ,14x20 , 5.5x14 ). Even with the usual cosmetic defects , a real beauty from 10 feet or more !
