Yes, we do accept consignments. There are two types of consignment commission rates: 1. We Sell/You Ship and 2. We Sell/We Ship. The We Sell/You Ship is for those who do not want to deal with listing the item(s), deal with buyers' questions, don't have a paypal account, or for whatever reason, etc. but CAN ship the item from their location. The fee for this is 10% and any associated pp/cc costs, and ONLY if it sells. Basically, you send us the pics and basic description and we get it up and running. When it sells, we hold the payment in escrow, then pay you the balance by paypal or check after the buyer has received the item satisfactorily. The We Sell/We Ship is for those who can ship or bring their items to our office in Memphis TN. The fee for this is 20% plus any pp/cc fees and packing materials. We will take pics, write descriptions, deal with buyers' questions, accept payment, pack and ship the item(s), then pay by paypal or check after the buyer has received the item satisfactorily.
We have actually been doing a few consignments since the beginning of DrumSellers and it has worked like a charm. Lately we've had more requests than usual for consignments , and feel it is the right time to announce the service to the general "drummersphere".
